Your garden was absolutely beautiful, Sue! I can’t imagine the quality of reading, knitting, and naps that took place. Thank you so much for inviting us in
I love this so much! I love how you describe your garden, so beautifully written.
I am reading a book about gardens in art, and I have also been thinking about my little windowsill garden and how I can make it even more enjoyable this year.
Ahh thank you for your kind words. I try to make my kitchen windowsill seasonal. Currently I have amaryllis and hyacinths in glass pots so I can watch their roots grow. A spotty jug with dried poppy heads and teasels. Anything really that brings the outside in for a while
Beautiful. I've been craving poppies as well! I've been looking at my amaryllis all January, but now it's completed the flowering cycle. I have a tiny hyacinth also that I am checking on every other day : )
Lovely to read. Like you, I get very attached to the gardens I have created and miss them dreadfully each time we move.
We are looking to downsize at the moment and in my head, I am busy making plans for the garden. If only we could sell our house. We have found a house we like, so fingers crossed.

I was late with my amaryllis so just waiting for it to burst
Your garden looks amazing, well done!
It was a labour of love
Definitely, but not just love. Determination, sore hands, sore back, refusing to give up and imagination and vision! 👏👏👏

Hope your house sells soon. We are having the same issues with MIL house, been on the market for months not a bite
We reduced our price by 25 k as suggested by the agent, but it has made no difference so far.
Yes, same here, even wanted us to drop again for Boxing Day sale. The problem I think is too many new builds in the village.
So much hard work and a beautiful outcome!!
Thank you, it was such a lovely space, I just thankful for all the photos I took over the years. Many thanks for the restack x
I am so glad that space holds memories for me as well 💛

Thanks David, you know us can’t sit still if there’s a garden to create!
